Since its first adoption in a passenger vehicle DMS in Japan in 2018, the use of “FaceU® for DMS” has steadily expanded to a wide range of vehicle models across multiple automakers.

In recent years, the adoption of DMS has accelerated due to increasing regulatory requirements and safety assessment standards in various countries. Our image recognition technology plays an essential role in supporting this trend.

Key milestones to date:

  • 2018: First adoption in a passenger vehicle DMS in Japan
  • End of December 2022: Surpassed 1 million units
  • End of March 2024: Surpassed 2 million units
  • End of December 2024: Surpassed 3 million units
  • End of June 2025: Surpassed 4 million units
